I'm not sure when this place snuck into town, but I'm glad my wife found it for us to eat last weekend. This place is phenomenal. I've been here twice, and so far the food and service is consistent. If you're looking for a good dish, I would highly recommend the UBK Pasta. The prices definitely match the quality/quantity of the food. My wife and I spent about $40 on both of our entree's with an appetizer as well. I'm interested in their Wing Wednesday and will definitely be there for lunch this week.

Excellent food and an exceptional staff! The menu is loaded with wonderful choices. Everything is prepared fresh and served quickly in a quaint and comfortable atmosphere!

Outstanding food and service! I've never had a bad meal or experience here. The owner, Gary McGhee is an old classmate of mine. You can tell this guy is not afraid of getting his hands dirty. You can catch him doing anything from taking food out to cleaning off tables. Come support this restaurant when your in Tuscaloosa. You won't regret it!!!

I need more stars! Great food, friendly staff and great experience overall! I have eaten here a few times and they have not disappointed. Mom and Dad like it too!

UBK is one of my favorite place to dine in Alabama. The food is exceptional. The hostess was friendly and Sarah our server was poised, professional and her customer services skills were remarkable. The food reminds you of a Sunday lunch at grandma house. It’s so refreshing to find great service and hearty food.

Always a great atmosphere in the Urban. The food is always fresh and you don't have to wait for a table if you hit up the bar area. So far my favorites have been the fried and grilled grouper sandwiches and the spinach dip. I would definitely recommend it!!

Delicious faire at a reasonable price. I've never had a bad experience there. And the wait staff are friendly, thorough and fast

My friends and I went there 40 minutes before closing and that food tasted like they just opened for the day. I had the UBK pasta with the shrimp, conecuh sausage, and grilled chicken. Oh so yummy….made me wanna slap my mama!!! (Not really, she’d kill me lol) but that’s just how good this place is. Definitely, the front runner of my favorite places to eat in Tuscaloosa.

The blackened grouper sandwich was seasoned terrifically. Just a hint of black pepper lingers afterwards. Two thumbs up for using fresh green beans! Also my compliments to a staff that was really humming, working together to handle a large lunch time rush.

There's not a lot of places I frequent in Tuscaloosa, but the Urban Bar is one of them!

The food is good and the decor is cute. But most of all, the service is great!

Some item on the menu to avoid--- skip the porkchops if you like yours thick and the ceaser salad unless you like yours drenched in dressing. Or ask for the dressing on the side. I'd skip the Cuban sandwhich too if you've had an authentic one.

My favorite is the Buffalo Cauliflower "Wings!" Skip trying to make it at home, this place has it nailed down! I also love thier sweet potato fries! Perfect crispy outside! I don't know who's working the fryer but they got all things fried down!
