I have been to this place more than a handful of times. And, I have gotten something different every time I have gone. Just to see if maybe it's what I ordered. But, that is not the case. The donuts are bland and dry. The other baked goods such as strudel and scones are stale and brittle. The cookies are above average at best. Overall this place is definitely not worth the stop if you're passing thru on the Seward Highway.

Excellent service! The owner is an outstanding man and his employees were terrific! I couldn't ask for a better experience!

Get more staff. With a line out the door, it doesn’t matter how good the food is if it takes weeks to get a donut.

Logan Shelagowski

Good croissants, good donuts, large apple fritters with real fruit!

Stopped by early in the day to check this place out and was realy looking forward to coming back after dinner for a sugar cookie. When we returned, I'll admit to Being a little needed when I asked for a cookie that was a bit larger (like all the others in the window) the server was a bit snarky and rude. Then later in the car when I tried the sugar cookie which was $5.00 it was terrible, .. very hard and not fresh at all, and had less the present taste 😞 very disappointing.

We loved this place so much we went twice while we were in Girdwood! I tried two kinds of chai, the vanilla chai and the spicy chai. The vanilla was too sweet for me personally but the spicy chai was perfection. We also tried the Bavarian cream donut, the apple fritter, the sprinkled cake donut and a piece of baklava. The Bavarian cream was huge and very tasty. The apple fritter was nice and not doughy like some can be in the middle, it had delightful crispy edges. The cake donut was solid and the coffee was just ok. However, the baklava was absolutely divine!

Great bakery! Get there before noon for the best selection. Stopped there at 3:00 pm. NO fritters of any kind, Apple, raspberry or blueberry 😢.

Great Kaladie Bros coffee and the best feta, spinach crossaint!

Always open whenever we drive past Girdwood!
Coconut pecan bar is huge, dense, and delicious.
Croissants are a little greasy but simple and tasty.

I believe the food is bad. You cannot leave ham and cheese out all day without consequences. The service was ok. The coffee was watered down. Almost everything but their cookies is $8 a piece. I will not be going back ever.
