Valley Hotel & 24/7 Open Café

I am currently staying at the colony in anex house right now and I am horrified ! It looks NOTHING Like the photos online where I booked it (booking.con) and I have NO IDEA how it has a 8.5 review and people saying it is clean and cute. This is a 1970s that hasn’t been updated that has clear signs of water damage upstairs and a extremely damp smell and old people smell. It looks like a house from a scary movie! If it’s not because it’s 12 am and I’m with my family I would have drove to proper hotel for the night. I feel tricked ! Also the location given was incorrect I had to call and check in at the valley hotel or something like that then drive to the house .

Only went in for a brunch for a birthday, loved the place. just get there a bit earlier for more daily specials and options. it can get busy x)

This places can be very off and on. Sometimes the food and service will be great and other times it can really use some work. However, occasionally it is pretty understandable because they do get very busy at times. Great place if you just want to go grab a cup of coffee or a basket of fries while hanging out with friends.

Had the Halibut and chips. Was fantastic! First time in Palmer and first restaurant I went to in the middle of the night when everywhere else was closed. Loved it!

Best waffle with blueberries and whip cream I've had in Alaska! Also loved the corn fritters! Our waitress was very friendly and all the food was nice and hot.

This is a review for the restaurant only, I haven't stayed at the hotel. I've eaten here about five times, always late at night when everywhere else is closed. The only food I have ordered are the burgers. A 24 hour greasy spoon with no competition could easily let its standards slip after hours, but I have always found the burgers and fries here to be quite excellent. That alone would earn this place a 5 star review for being good at what it does. However, this restaurant commits the unforgivable sin of serving instant coffee. Both their decaf and their regular come from powder packets. It is disgusting. In light of this, I consider it extremely generous to give this place three stars. If it is late at night and you are craving coffee in Palmer, God help you, because this place won't.

It was super busy when we got there but the waitress was still awesome! She was friendly and helpful. Food was still up pretty quick, not a long wait at all. Orders were correct, food was great!

Though a bit pricey, I enjoy the nostalgia, and I've been going there every so often for many years. I appreciate the wait staff very much, and my favorite thing about this place is that they serve breakfasts 24/7. I'll look forward to returning again soon.

Each time I come to visit my hometown, I have to eat at the Valley Hotel. I had roast beef, potatoes and gravy with green beans. My mother had turkey, potatoes and gravy.

A smile and good meal at any hour . Clean , gracious , comfort and homey We loved and recommend to anyone ! Thanks Janet , April , Jamie and all there . We will be back to visit . 💗
