This is a country food gem. The waitresses were quick to take our orders. The food was delivered quickly. I had the meatloaf dinner. My wife had the chicken dinner. The meatloaf was out of this world delicious. Better than Mom used to make. It came with what tasted like a homade roll, Lima beans and black eyed beans. Yum. My wife loved the chicken
It was so good she never talked much during the meal.
Let me warm you the servings are large and the prices are small. We felt watched over during the dinner there always was a waitress making the service excellent. Now I'm not sure if it was because we were passing through refugees from hurricane Irma or the restaurant is always this great. But I get the feeling they treat everyone this well. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our lunch today. Food was very good.... fresh fried shrimp, cheese grits and the best cole slaw....and service was excellent. And having grown up in Boston, of course, saw a couple of people we knew. The restaurant and the small town are well worth visiting if you're in the area. We'll certainly be returning.
