The Cocoa Bean- Bakery, Drinks, Ice Cream

Cupcakes are small, not too much flavor. The cocoa tastes strong bitter and a bit bunt aftertaste. Then tried to charge $.25 cents for a small plastic cup of water for my grandson. Do yourself a favor and take your money and time elsewhere

So my husband and I used to live in Idaho Falls and would ride our bikes across town just for a cupcake or ice cream. The place was clean, the people were friendly and the cupcakes were some of the prettiest things I had ever seen...we moved away and came back in today for a blueberry lemon cupcake and I have to tell you, I was really disappointed with the experience!
The girls behind the counter were actually pretty rude and had no sense of humor along with over charging us. I was sad to see that not as much detail has been placed in the look of the cupcake and the one I had come for were all burnt. So I chose a sugar cookie instead and the frosting was more like butter than frosting, I couldn't finish it.
I hate to be "that" review but I think it's taking time for the little things that make small business this nation's backbone.

I called ahead of time to see if they sold the drink I like they told me yes then I get there and they told me they didn't have it then Thier machine would not take my credit card would not recommend this place go to Starbucks

I dont like to be made to feel like I have to tip.
I bought a cupcake and paid with my debit card. She turned the computer screen around and asked if i wanted to leave a tip I can just select how much on the screen.
Really???
Like Im going to leave a tip for a cupcake!

Cupcakes, cake pops, and ice cream are amazing!!!!! I absolutely love all three of those things and get them for every birthday and holiday! However, their macaroons are crunchy and dry I would not recommend those....

I just went here for the first time and was grossed out that the girl who helped us did not put on any gloves when getting our cupcakes out even though there was a fully filled box of gloves right on the counter and easy to reach. She just reached in and grabbed them and threw them in a box and about 30 seconds later wiped her nose with her hand a few times while we were checking out :( if you work in the food industry please wear gloves when serving your customers food! I would like to give them a one star but my fiance really likes their cupcakes.

There are a few very good cupcakes that are worth a try, but the rest are not worth mentioning. The problem I have with this location is the staff. They don't seem to care about the customer very much, and act like it's a chore when you come in for something. Most of the staff do not wear gloves when removing items from the case, which is really gross, and then you see them wiping counters or playing with their hair or phone after. Not to mention this could be an allergy/ gluten problem for some people if there is cross contamination.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy coming here on occasion to get a yummy overly sugary treat, but when I do, I am reminded why I don't come in more often. Changes to staff or better training need to be established.

Little known fact: Cocoa Bean cupcakes are laced with gold, that's the only reason I could explain the price. ($2.75 per cupcake; 13 something for half dozen). Even though the prices are enough to make me shed a tear as I take the money out of my wallet and wonder what sacrifices I will have to make for the month for a golden cupcake, the service is extremely friendly and professional.

I entered the Cafe at 10mins 'til closing & they still let me purchase cupcakes--without giving any attitude! That's an automatic 5-star rating. It was my 1st experience having gourmet cupcakes like these with wild flavors, but I can say the kinds I had were Soooooooooooo Frickinnnnnnnnnnn Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing! My daughter loved them, and fiancee loved them. I recommend to every friend & will even be purchasing cupcakes for my upcoming wedding.

We buy cupcakes here at least once a month and they are always so helpful, friendly and easy to work with! And the cupcakes are delicious and beautifully decorated!
