Krispy Kreme

We always go to this location and have used it both for online ordering and in store every time we go we always get the same counter person and he is always acting like he hates his job and like we are committing a crime ordering anything. The drive thru person is the complete opposite they are always friendly. I would recommend using the drive thru if you are going here just for the friendly customer service.

Coming back from Chicago last night my mom, sister, kids and i decided to stop at Bloomington Krispy Kreme since the website says they were open until 10pm. We pulled up at 933 and decided to go inside to choose vs taking longer in drive as we were all getting assorted mixed dozens, we put on our masks and as we opened the door, an employee starts waving her finger signaling us "no". We thought the inside was possibly closed so started to the car to go through drive through. The female employee along with a male, came after us and said "we're closed and have already thrown everything out" when I said the website said 10 she stated "well, tonight we close at 930, we do have to clean, somebody has to, but for the inconvenience we had this box left" and the guy handed us a box of glazed mini donuts. We had planned to get 3 dozen assorted and based on the pricing for carryout orders this would have been nearly $40 worth.
I'm sure the free box of donuts were some they planned on taking home themselves.
I called the store this morning and spoke to a manager after waiting for someone to answer the phone for 2 min and 8 sec, when i asked the hours of operation and were told until 10, I told him my experience and all I got was "no, there wasn't anything going on last night, we should have been open until 10. I will address this with the crew" and that was it. I have worked in food service and know, even if you are slow nothing gets thrown out until after close. They were not busy at all (one car in drive through) and could have been cleaning so they could leave shortly after 10. I was appalled at this situation and got the impression from the manager that he didnt really care either. Krispy Kreme lost $40 worth of our business at this location, we will not return.

Doughnuts were great. However the staff working was terrible. They were fighting with each other right in front of customers and extremely rude to customers.

Great coffee, even better donuts. I prefer the them fresh off the conveyor, simple glazed, without the fancy bells and whistles. If you do prefer something more, the Boston creme, and lemon cream are great. The only downside are the calories... :-)

Good to get the free ones when they make them, but a lot of their specialty donuts are too sweet, and taste a little fake. They also don't consistently have all the stuff listed online. So go free and classic if you went a good time.

What Krispy Kreme does not have glazed donuts? At 5:00pm told they would not have any until at least the next day. I can see not having fresh, but none at all? Fail

This is a review for this specific location. Tonight we stopped in to grab a dozen donuts and the selection was paltry. Many of the donuts were stale. I've had Krispy Kreme from all over, I've never gotten a stale donut. And I've never been to one that didn't have many of their staple flavors in stock, such as chocolate frosted glazed and blueberry.

I wish I had the option for no star.
The sign was lit up so that means you get a free hot donut I came in with my five year old who watched the whole process of the donuts being made he wore a hat I took a picture of him bought a dozen donuts and never did the woman working offer my child or any of us a free hot donut.
