The Vault Cafe on the Square

The people working here are great...friendly, fast service, very polite, just really nice! Food was average. As a cafe I expected more of a sandwich style (subs, fresh food) rather than fried foods (burgers, bacon). The turkey melt was real turkey and cheese but was grilled on an obviously greasy (old grease taste) grill. Salad was fresh, dressing good, fresh croutons. Lemonade was supposedly fresh but really just a powder mix. I suggest a step up on the sandwich menu and real lemonade. I will go back when I am in the mood for a burger. Most cases I at least go back one more time and this place is no exception. Prices were very reasonable.

Awesome special today, I and my Granddaughter Raven went for a girl's day out for brunch. I loved the French Toast with Strawberries and Creme, she really liked her breakfast Sunrise Burger on A bagel bun.

Great food & great service with an awesome atmosphere. Truly one of a kind!

My mom and I stopped here while passing through town and it was an EXCELLENT experience. The owner + staff set a table up for us outside so we could eat our takeout order (without us asking) because we were traveling with a puppy. The food was phenomenal and tasted fresh + homemade. We had the pancakes and biscuits and gravy and both were delicious!

This was our first visit to The Vault having just moved to the area from Houston, TX last month. We arrived after the lunch rush and were greeted by a very friendly and competent staff and management.

The menu selection was varied and our order was well prepared and delivered promptly with frequent followup.

An interesting touch is the single table for 4 that sits inside the actual bank vault.

We won't hesitate to visit again nor should you.

Tried The Vault Cafe for the first time. We were immediately seated upon entering. Waitress was friendly and helped with menu suggestions. My wife tried the suggested Good as Gold breakfast and absolutely loved it. I tried the French Dip which was delicious. Prices were right on. The old bank setting was a nice change of scenery from the usual local restaurants. May have to try the table in the vault some time. Will definitely return to try more menu items.

This place was awesome. I have never in my life had service at a restaurant this kind and genuine. The took my family back to see the vault and the kids still say it's too bad other places don't have a vault. The service was definitely the highlight, but the food was really good too.
