Decent food for a quick breakfast. Had hoped for a cappuccino but they no longer had thier expresso machine

I really like this place for brunches! The servers are nice, the price is good, and the food is really good too! Their food portions are okay, and the bottomless coffee is amazing! Don't forget to seat outside!!!

The place has great food I will agree. However, the owner is very rude and laughed at me and my service dog. He then proceeded to laugh with other customers at me and told me that my 10lb service dog was too big for the restaurant.
I will never eat here again.

Good coffee, creative breakfasts, healthy cuisine, and smart, caring servers -- that's what I like for breakfast and it is consistently served at Milton's! I love the people, the menu, and the setting in downtown Lawrence!

***COVID-19 WARNING*** Tiny space (tight quarters), so Milton's is the prime environment for the spread of COVID given that the virus does NOT miraculously take a break from spreading while masks are off to eat. Additionally, Milton's is breaking the rules with their self-serve coffee station. Dozens of people regularly handle the coffee station items (sugar, cream, etc.) without any disinfecting. I know the owner has had friends and family die from COVID, so I'm surprised he's allowing dine-in service at his establishment and willingly contributing to the spread of COVID.

Amazing food, very quick service and great staff!

As a KU alumni, I have been to Milton's countless times. When I graduated, it moved locations and I was told it went way downhill. I was visiting this year for the KU bball home opener. After a big night out on the town, I woke up and headed to Milton's. The place was packed, the same friendly owner greeted me at the door, and the food was even better than I remember it being. Best breakfast spot in Lawrence. If I only had more money when I was a student I would have gone there everyday.

The customer service was great but the manager seemed like a jerk. He was very rude to the women in the building and was a huge turnoff. I don't think I will ever go again the disrespect that he showed towards customers and staff was quite unappetizing.
