Great coffee and a fun, quirky atmosphere that was a welcome and refreshing change of pace from the car during a trip to Colorado. This is the kind of coffee shop I could see spending nearly every day in; Salina is fortunate to have Ad Astra in town!

We keep finding ourselves here. The staff really knows their baristology. Comfy and cozy and excellent homemade treats. We don't go out much, but we come out here to listen to live music, have breakfast, or just get a frozen quadzilla almond joy.

awesome place, coffee and service is always amazing! I recommend it to everyone.

Decided to try something different than Starbucks and we were well rewarded. Cold brew coffe was ultra fantastic. Very very smooth. Iced vanilla latte was also very good.

Salina has needed a coffee shop like this for a long time! Great food, drinks, and entertainment! Bring your kids to check out the children's books and toys, then browse the books, play a game of chess, or just relax in the comfy chairs!

My only complaint is that some of the food is FAR more expensive than the materials and time required to make it.

Great coffee and good conversation

Ad Astra is a homegrown landmark, and has quickly become a staple downtown. Nowhere else in town hosts diverse, multicultural events featuring author readings, music, game nights, political candidate meet and greets, and even spin your own record nights. Come for the events, stay for the delicious treats and drinks. Don't forget to pick up a book on your way out!

This place is very warm and inviting. The baristas are great and knowledgeable. There are a lot of books inside that you are free to read. Perfect place for breakfast.
