Magpie Cafe

The manager today, is very unprofessional. I'm sitting here and he is giving a performance review to an employee in the middle of all the customers. Also, the "corrective criticism" he is insulting in his word choice and possibly very embarassing for her because it is in the middle of customers. This is a conversation that should be had in the back of the house, not in front of everyone. I think if anyone should be corrected for his behavior, it is him, not her. Looking around, customers are obviously finding this awkward. She deserves more dignity than this.

We go here once a week at least. They have a great selection of fresh made, healthy food - many gluten free, vegan and Paleo options. There's also a lot of options for coffee/espresso.

Delicious coffee and food! Everything is high quality and well executed. Very busy (in a good way) but service was fast and friendly. A gem in Baton Rouge.

Great cafe with really good coffee. The baristas know what they're talking about, just ask them for recommendations. Good atmosphere as well; not too loud and not too quiet.

Medium Latte and a paleo cookie. That'll be $11.97. FU! Overpriced, rude staff, coffee meh.

I always make sure to swing through Magpie Cafe for a cup of coffee and container of juice when I'm in Baton Rouge. Couldn't ask for a more comfortable cafe. Thanks Magpie staff for all of your deliciousness! You are awesome.

They have best paleo snacks and best coffee ☕️.

Great coffee, nice outdoor space. Very sad they're no longer serving brunch and lunch but they still have pastries!

High quality mocha, perfect temp and flavor with microfoam. Nicely done!

Nice breakfast sandwich (herb egg, cheese panini) but nothing special. Arrived at noon so novel vegetarian items were sold out. Would like to repeat and arrive earlier.
