J'aime Le Café Marrero

Great coffee and very quick and efficient considering the ridiculously long line. Some of their food and drinks tend to be a tad bit pricey. Not too too bad though. Also, some of the girls working there could be a bit friendlier. J/S

The coffee is kind of weird (as in not very flavorful) and not at all what we are accustomed to elsewhere. I do like that they try to handle the always lengthy drive-through line by sending people out of the back door to take orders and bring beverages. But is any coffee shop really worth a long wait in a parking lot on the West Bank?

Best coffee imo. The drive thru line was 15 cars long, wish I knew what else is good here and why everyone waited in line. Blended (frozen) espresso is delicious.

Love this quaint coffee shop! Friendly staff, wonderful tea and coffee! Love the quiet ambiance and newspapers they have every morning!

Awesome drive up coffee place. Stopped on our way from swamp tour. Excellent coffee, friendly staff! Wish it was closer to the city cuz we would have visited every day on our trip.

Very clean, friendly staff. I got the avocado toast with a fried egg and it was absolutely delicious.

Rarely do I not finish a coffee. The iced Twix that didn't taste like a Twix was far too sugary for me, and I'm a sugar addict. The entire thing tasted horrid when it warmed up. What coffee is bad when it's warm? This coffee.
The kitschy gramma ambience was what the photos showed and that's what I expecting throughout, but it's probably loved by the local single men instead.
The sandwich cheese wasn't melted and I had a pile of spinach to work around, but the taste was decent besides that.
Pass.

This place has a lot of good reviews online don't understand why I came in approximately 6 a.m. in the morning. The coffee with did not taste that fresh extremely sweet mocha drink. We were considering a muffin but it look like it was stale muffins from the day before.

Once we ordered sat down had a drink and went to go pay the other cashier did not know what we ordered and therefore incorrectly rang us up and show no enthusiasm for customer service.

On the way out the original employee who prepared a drink stop that's on the way out and asked us if we paid. In other words a lack of coordination between employees.

And they were reheating bacon on a grill which made the whole place smell like bacon including my clothing

Love their food and coffee but the wait time is absolutely ridiculous😤. The lines are always long because you have to wait for them to get at least 3-4 car orders before they run in and start your order. I've been waiting in line for 23 minutes for 2 coffee's and still nothing. Guess, I'll be late for work again😡. Yall ever thought about investing in walkie talkies??
