Big Momma's Coffee & Espresso Bar

Exceptional scones. Tasted more like a pie it was so moist and fruity. Coffee was tasty too. Cute location and nice selection of special lattes.

This has been one of my go to coffee places in Springfield. I've hosted several things here in their back seating section and have witnessed many open mic nights as well. The staff always provided me with great service and I have recommended them to many of my friends.

I had a delightful cappuccino, significantly better than any delivered at a chain. The trivia question for a discount was a hoot. Our friends got a dessert and adored it. Service was fast and courteous. I saw many others eating the food served there, but I can't speak to the quality other than saying everything we got was great.

Want a great meal at a reasonable price with friendly service? Go to Big Mama's Cafe. Been there a half dozen times and never been disappointed. Try the soup!

Coffee was smooth and medium roast. The staff that day was not very friendly and this put off the vibe for me. It was 1/2 hour before closing so this could have had something to do with it. Seemed to be people using computers and milling about. Sold limited baked goods. Small but has an area to the back but i did not explore.

Very friendly atmosphere! Drinks are marvelous. Quiches are only thing I have eaten ;)

It's really a wonderful experience. I would however suggest to Mr. Lyle Foster, that he sit his male staff down and redirect them on customer service etiquette. Great staff, great service, but the last few times, the 2 guys are really acting like they have a major chip on their shoulders. It's not pleasant for us already carrying a a lot for others these Holidays, and are in need of a reset, a break and good vibes, hence why we go to Big Mommas. I am not the only one who says this, literally 3 other merchants on Commercial street told me when I asked them what they thought of Big Momma's. Hope this gets through! We all go through things, but being in customer service and acting like a seasoned professional is part of the performance, if you expect to be taken care of then you take care of others. Have Happy Holidays. You never know what your customers are going through and how far the value of basic kindness in good customer service can go.

Very tasty drinks and parfaits (didn't try any of the foods, sadly). The atmosphere was a little unfriendly, but it was good nonetheless!

I love this place! Its a great spot to sit and chat with your friends. The food is so yummy and the drinks amazing!
