Rude barista wouldnt help me with uber eats order simply ignored me. Do not pick up from this location this has been the 3rd time coming to pick up an order from here where the staff just ignore you.

Very cozy and earthy spot for studying. Lots of space and outlets are plenty. Get the sidecar- it's a quick shot of espresso to get you going, a cappuccino to sip, Italian soda, and 2 chocolate covered espresso to finish- only $3.

The staff is very helpful with questions and suggestions. I ordered a salted caramel frozen coffee. It was delicious and not too sweet like a lot of frozen coffee drinks at other cafes. I also ordered the veggie flatbread and it was amazing!

Still a fine spot, but the quality of the food has decreased. The coffee was also better before the purchase by Kaldi's. (Used to brew intelligentsia coffee.) Atmosphere and location are still great ... it just used to be a lot better.

I was recently living in St. Louis and I was driving past Kayaks and I was intrigued so I eventually visited the coffee shop. Mindblowing very nice decor reminds me of a mountain Resort. Great coffee and delicious pastries.

The food and coffee are both pretty excellent. I've been coming to Kayak's for about a year and a half now; I started coming because of it's location being right next to the Skinker Metrolink station and working in the Delmar Loop. First impression was that the building is big for a coffee shop with many two person tables and window seating along most of the wall space. The decor is cabin in the woods themed.
I typically order lattes or iced tea for myself and pour-over coffees for my friends. The lattes are delicious and foamy, almost always topped with a piece of latte art. The vanilla latte is my usual stand-by, but the seasonal ones (mint, brown sugar and rosemary, maple and pumpkin) are awesome as well. There is a broad variety of food, including soup of the day, salads, sandwiches, wraps, assorted pastries, and more. The toasted cheese, cowboy burrito, and the soups are my faves.
The service is prompt, kind, and well-delivered. While there may be many orders going at once, Kayak's comes off as well staffed and service is typically quick.
Kayak's was my first introduction to the STL coffee scene and has changed my standards for coffee permanently.

Always love the energy of this location! The baristas are friendly and helpful, and I feel motivated studying around other students when I come here. If you’re looking for a quieter/ cozier location that sells Kaldi coffee, check out their location on DeMun!

One of the best coffee shops in the entire area because of its proximity to so many ideal locations such as Forest Park, the Art Museum, Washington University, and many unique neighborhoods. One of the best things is to order a good cup of coffee or chai and then walk across the street and hit the trail at Forest Park for a good walk. If you are a runner, you can start at the Forest Park Visitor Center and then and at this Cafe for a post-workout drink.

I usually get the go-to latte when I come here. I saw a coconut latte on the menu and I figured I would give it a try. I was not a fan. I brought it back and asked if I could exchange it for my normal latte and they did without question. I was very impressed. It's employees like this that make me come back all the time!
