Very nice and good food, would have been nice if server would have checked on us

Water Street Cafe has a lively atmosphere, wonderful attentive staff, and amazing food! My order was the special, Prime Rib (medium rare) with a side of two eggs over easy and a side of loaded home fries smothered in hollandaise sauce, and an additional side order of smashbrowns. Needless to say, everything was out of this world and made perfectly to order! Highly recommend for anyone passing through Laconia, NH!

Average looking cafe with above average food. It's a great little spot on an out of the way road but will worth the look to eat there

I've been to this cafe twice, and I absolutely love the omelettes with a side of scalloped potatoes. There is not much of waiting involved, even on the weekends. I ordered the veggie omelette with sourdough bread, and it was delicious.

Last time I had breakfast here with my husband and daughter my food was cold. For three people it was 70.00. The waitress was great.....the first time my breakfast was perfect. Food was excellent. Guess it's hot or miss...

The food was amazing, but it was way too expensive. We spent almost $80 to get breakfast for 3 people. We will not be going back, specifically for this reason. For the same meals at another place, we barely spend over $30. Again, food was great, server was attentive for the most part, it was clean and the staff was friendly. We did wait almost an hour for our food as well while we saw 2 cooks chatting with customers at the table next to us.

Last time in food wasn't the greatest, but this time it was the best. I like to give places a couple of try because with places being under staff, you could have hit it at a bad time. The staff was great the food yummy and even put an order in for their meat pie for Thanksgiving.

We enjoy the food but service is lacking. We are always waiting for 30 plus minutes for our order even when the place has only a few customers.
