Alley Cat Cafe has clearly labeled vegan items on their menu. They make everything to order, and the staff was super friendly.

The concept of the cafe is neat and I love that it has a compassionate component to their business.

I ordered The Jaguar. It was very delicious, though the portion was a smidge small. I'd pay a bit more to have it be a slightly bigger sandwich or for an included side.

I also ordered a lemonade, which was very refreshing on a hot, sunny summer day.

Overall, this is a great stopping point in Ithaca!!

The very perfect idea of a cozy coffee shop; plants, arm chairs, local art, kitties ☺️

This is so eccentric and cute! The staff is so cute and friendly. Very attention to detail staff. The coffee is on point!

At first i gave them 5 stars, but came back for a second cup two hours later. They changed Batista and it was the longest wait I ever had for a cup of coffee.

A really cute, unique place to hangout, even just the café part. Disappointed I missed the more feline pastries. The coffee and tea selection is good and whimsical, just wish they had more traditional protein options instead of having to go Gorges around the corner. The cats seemed a little despondent, but I think that's just from not being in their forever home yet. It is lovely that they have the big storefront windows at this location. Their food dishes could have been a little cleaner and full though. Kind of confused about the cat rooms, it's $5 for a half hour, but there were people at the more comfortable chairs and tables who were in there all day, some of which seemed to be staff? Also, the masks are a little much in the Spring of 2023, even to an immunocompromised, overly cautious, four times boosted person- even medical facilities aren't requiring them any longer.

This is one of my favourite places, period. The vibe is just right. The employees are so kind, there are almost always delicious, locally-made vegan pastries, and it's a safe space to be flamboyantly LGBTQ

Nice selections of beverages, especially tea and Italian soda. And you can meet the adoptable kitties for a small $5 donation to the animal shelter!

The Alley Cat Cafe was definitely one of the biggest highlights during my time here in Ithaca. Such a fantastic spot with such a beautiful message and cause! To confirm with other reviews, it does cost $5 to have access for 30 minutes to the cat room, but in my opinion it's completely worth it, for the proceeds go toward the cats' medical expenses, food, and finding them forever homes!

The food was fresh, tasty, and relatively well priced. I was so thrilled that there were vegan and vegetarian options. When I went I also got an iced chai latte as a beverage, I prefer my chai a bit spicer, but it was good nonetheless and I would buy it again.

The staff members were all lovely to interact and chat with. I had such lovely experiences and conversations with everyone there.

Additionally, I was very happy to find that this cafe was very environmentally conscious as well as extremely inclusice and queer positive! Overall I had a fantastic experience - this spot was right up my alley and I will definitely be stopping by again soon!

Nice quiet cafe atmosphere that’s a lot more calm than places like Starbucks or Collegetown Bagels. Haven’t tried the food yet, but the white-chocolate mint latte I had was on par if not better than most places.
The feature that sets this place apart from every other coffee shop are the two cat rooms in the back. $5 gets you 30min with the cats — a purrfectly reasonable price (sorry, couldn’t resist) — and the money goes to support the non-profit cat rescue where you can adopt any of the adorable felines from.
