Rays Drive In

GOOD FOOD. I RECOMMEND THE RAYS SPECIAL BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO EAT A BIG DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER. CHICKEN STRIP BASKET IS ALSO GREAT.

If you ever pass by Lufkin, please make sure to stop at this delicious burger joint. It is reminiscent of papas burgers. So good I forgot to take a picture before I bit into these amazing burgers!

Hadn't ate at Rays since Ray's West burnt and closed down. I was on that side of town so I decided to pick up dinner for the family. Good food takes a little time to cook. When I arrived home in Hudson, the food was still hot and tasted great.

Best burger in lufkin the food is great staff are friendly you can sit in your vehicle and eat or dine in up to you all in all a great place

The food was hot and fresh but it took forever to get it. Then come to find out they forgot my daughters chicken strips so we had to wait even longer. However they gave us a full refund for the chicken and was very apologetic. That's the reason they get 4 stars and not 5.

Very confusing at first until u realize it's a counter top service. With that there is no table side service, which I'm ok with. It was a lot of little thing I observed while being here( and possibly the fact that I ordered a jalapeno cheeseburger and the jalapenos weren't present) that warented the three stars...so it may have been just our visit. None the less may be worth giving a try!

This place looks like something you'd see in Happy Days. It's a drive-in with a diner counter and s nice outdoor seating area. The theme is classic cars. Other reviewers raved about the onion rings, which were definately handmade, but tasted like straight flour. The mixed drinks were weak. But, the burgers were fabulous. I had a chili cheese burger and savored every bite.

Always good food and a friendly atmosphere. Very good at getting out your order in a timely matter.

I love their onion rings but the burgers taste like they don’t even salt and pepper the burger patty.
