The Hot Chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad are divine. I'm definitely returning when we go back to Little Rock. My husband can't get enough of the burger and sweet potato fries!

I think this place had the best burger and salad I ever did have the opportunity to taste! as a queer woman in arkansas this place feels like a safe haven with inclusive and friendly staff members, and great decor. such a delicious menu and is a great place to take your date or friends! this place is also a must-go if you're wanting to go out to eat but don't want something super greasy or heavy!

Our favorite place to eat when we’re in town! Delicious food with a clean conscience! I only wish I could find a place like this where we live in Houston!

The food was surprisingly good. I selected this place because I knew it was somewhere that my stepmother would like since most of their dishes had a lot of greens available. I've never considered putting pickled carrot on top of my edge, the sauce that came with the eggs and carrots really made it a cohesive dish. The arugula was also a nice touch.
I would certainly go here again to see what else I might like.

The Root is my favorite restaurant in Little Rock! You won't find another place like it. Quality local food and inventive spins on classics. Everything on the menu is delicious. It is a must visit! Fantastic options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free people.

Super cute little place. The cold brew coffee was amazing. Fresh lemonade too. We got the omelettes and blueberry pancakes and everything was so flavorful and fresh, cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend and would go again if we pass through here again.

Ordering was easy and the food actually came very fast since we were part of the morning crowd.
My biggest complaint is a restaurant that supports local farmers and homegrown goods should have a nutritional sheet. A progressive restaurant like this should definitely be mindful of their customers who are on dietary needs and must keep track of their calorie and macro intake.
Unfortunately during my visit I was unable to properly track what I could honestly eat since I didn't know what the nutritional value was for every menu item. When I called to see if they had an online menu I was not given any options. I genuinely hope that this changes for the future!

The pimento burger, mushroom burger, and grilled ham cheese were excellent. We enjoyed them very much! I will definitely order those again. The Country Captain was not good. Kind of slimy, would have been so much better with roasted mushroom and the flavor was missing something. No one liked it. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

The new addition is very comfortable. The food is local, natural and great! I have now had breakfast, lunch and dinner here at various times. The folks here are helpful and enthusiastic. They have plenty of seating in and outside. Give this place a try!

I love the butter milk pancakes! So fluffy and filling! The orange juice is pretty awesome as well. The place just feels comfortable and cozy. But be warned in the summer we had to wait 45 minutes in line just to order. It is a bit pricey.
