This place is fantastic! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They are very considerate of health allergies and dietary needs. There are pretty yummy vegan and GF options. The food is locally sourced from farms and they grow some of their own herbs and spices fresh.
The atmosphere is fun and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The Pork Carnitas are delicious and their fries are real potatoes cut in house. Make sure to check their hours before going and in case you are wondering, they don't do reservations but it's worth the wait on a busy day! I'll definitely go back. 👍👍

Wonderful place to meet for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Everything we got on menu was good! It had good seating options and was a nice place to have conversations, and wasn't too loud.

A place to get real food only 4 miles off I-40! Organic local vegetables and local grassfed beef. What's not to like? Everything was delicious! Service was very friendly.
Definitely a casual, no-frills dining room, but eating organic whole foods is my number one concern when trying to find a place to eat. I thought the prices were reasonable ($13 for a grassfed burger and salad plate with all the fixins). Highly recommend for foodies!

Food is trying too hard to be different and the flavors are bold but a simple ham and cheese sandwich was not good. I did appreciate the service and outdoor seating arrangements though

The root cafe aquires their ingredients from local sources, and you can definitely tell by how delicious it tastes! I had the egg sausage and cheese biscuit with a blueberry muffin and bacon. The food has a homecooked at Grandma's house look and taste and the atmosphere is inviting. Everyone there was very nice, I will be going back to try lunch sometime!

Another cool grungy earthy Akansas own breakfast/lunch/dinner joint. Tasty breakfast... and delicious pastries. Very cool unique and eclectic atmosphere. All locally grown ingredients.

I like this place and today the Root cafe brought their deliciousness in to the TSA Employees who just went the longest government shutdown ever.
The Root Cafe's generosity is overwhelming. Thank you so much. The Officers were so so grateful for their generosity.
