Fairfax Simply Social Coffee

Visiting from out of town I always try to find small mom and pop shops. This one does not disappoint. The atmosphere and the drink/food options are all great. Clean, kind and plenty of seating.

I recently visited this location because I wanted some waffles. The greeter was unwelcoming and I honestly I immediately felt uncomfortable. I asked if I could be seated outside and he said outside was full. I asked how long before Seating would be available and he said he didn't know how long it would take. First come, first serve. However, I got the impression that he didn't take the time confirm with a manager if there's a waiting list. I quickly realized no other black nationality was seated at this location. He kept saying sorry and there's nothing he could do. I wasn't even given an option to take out. I felt very uncomfortable and left. Hopefully in the future my presence would be welcome. Unfortunately I can't rate the food since I never got an opportunity to dine here.

We've been living pretty much across the street from the Fairfax location for over a year and JUST discovered it about two months ago- such a shame! We LOVE Simply Social! The coffee is fantastic, their avocado toast is delicious (they have a great gluten free option!) and Sam is simply wonderful! He's such a delight, always pleasant and helpful- so much so that you can tell he really enjoys his job. We've raved about this place and will continue to as long as their service remains impeccable!

Absolutely amazing coffee shop (with great food too!!) across the street from my office. I've been here three years and only just found Simply Social about a year ago unfortunately...I wish I knew about it earlier! I had been going to another coffee shop much further away before.

As a small business owner myself, small/local non-chain coffee shops are really important to me and I'll pretty much refuse to go to a Starbucks or other chain if there is a local alternative. I've been going consistently to Simply Social now for about a year, and I have never once had a bad experience. The quality of the coffee is superb, the service is fantastic, and I'm always greeted by a very friendly and smiling cashier.

To top it all off, they are taking COVID very seriously and are not allowing indoor "dining" which I greatly appreciate. I know that's a difficult decision to make since it cuts down on revenue, but it makes me happy to see they are doing what is right.

I didn't know what coffee to order and the staff took time to help me decide. I ended up having an Americano with a breakfast sandwich. Everything was quite tasty. Highly recommended for friendly staff and good coffee.

A family owned. The best coffee in the town. I started going here when they opened. Nowadays often they run out of chairs. Hope they expand!

The best coffee I’ve had in Fairfax after living here 20 years. Also the best pastries, croissants, and cinnamon rolls! The staff is incredible, Summers goes above and beyond with customer service. A true local gem that I will continue to frequent.

Super cute place that serves delicious lattes and sandwiches. I’ve been there twice and both times had a wonderful experience. The coffee was the best I’ve had in such a long time. The decoration is really inviting, trendy and bright. Staff is friendly and helpful too. Would recommend and will go back.

Simply Social has the best dirty chai lattes in NoVA, rich spicy and delicious. If that wasn’t enough reason to love them, they also offer delicious sandwiches, quesadillas, avocado toast and my personal favorite, Belgian waffles heaped with fresh berries and whipped cream! Everything is made up fresh to order and served all day long. You can order ahead online or by phone and they’ll bring your order out to your car when you arrive or you can enjoy their patio dining area. Service is fast and friendly. A great spot for a little Sunday brunch action!

One of the best coffee places around. The place is clean even though it is small. Their almond croissant is out of this world. The guy who makes the coffee excellent! I wish their working hours on weekdays be a little bit long. I always look forward to go there and enjoy their Italian cappuccino! You won't regret going there!
