Greeted at the door with the beautiful smell of caramel popcorn. Had the bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel. Couldn't resist the peanut butter pretzel cookie. Both were very tasty.

Service was friendly and fast. Enjoyed perusing the market while my sandwich was being made.

Cute place!

Perfect downtown cafe for breakfast . I loved my Scotcharoo and Strawberry smoothie 🍓

Amazing place. We started out looking for a coffee shop. Well, not only did we find coffee, but cookies, pastries, muffins, popcorn in various flavors, ice cream, pies, a deli, cookie dough, but also gifts, children's books and toys, greeting cards, and the list goes on.
We will definitely be back

If you want a cozy place to talk with a friend over tea or coffee, while enjoying great homemade cookies or pies, quiches, sandwiches etc, this is it. If you want to find a unique, good quality gift, they have lots to choose from! I've been going here for over 8 years. Highly recommend as a place to go to.

This was my second visit here and was a bit disappointed in the food compared to my first visit. My boyfriend and I didn't care for the Wisconsin Cheese soup, as it was not very flavorful. The shredded beef sandwich was also pretty disappointing. The beef had very little flavor and there wasn't a lot of beef on the sandwich (maybe 3.5 tablespoons worth of meat). The sandwich was $9 and I feel like for the amount of beef we got, it shouldn't have cost that much. On the plus side, I enjoyed my bacon grilled cheese and my boyfriend enjoyed his potato salad. We've had the cookies here before and they're amazing! I love the atmosphere as well. I'm hoping to return again but may just stick to the cookies and other baked goods.

Me and my friend were loyal customers who went to caramel crisp weekly to study for our CAPP classes together. Every single time we went, we bought meals, drinks, snacks, and treats to bring home to our families to support our local cafe. However, today we had a confusing, unnerving encounter that caused us to reevaluate whether or not this is a business we want to continue to support. I brought in a drink from home, intending to finish it quickly and then buy something else from caramel crisp as per usual. A lady (who we believe was the boss) I had never seen before confronted me angrily about my drink I was about to finish, asking “if I thought it was acceptable” and “proper” to bring my own drink in because caramel crisp is a business. I told her I completely understood where she was coming from, but she continued to go on about how we use her internet and drink her water and we cannot just come in without buying. She of course was unaware of the hundreds of dollars we have spent at caramel crisp over the years. If she had simply told us to not bring in our own drink again in a respectful manner it would’ve been fine because we understood where she was coming from, however, her extremely aggressive and accusatory tone forced my friend and I to leave immediately and decide to not go back again. Disappointing.

Caramel Crisp is a complete experience. A beautiful eating, book, toy and gift shopping experience. Locally owned and featuring many local products, it is a must visit for Oshkosh. And the best cookies and ice cream anywhere...

We visited around 11:30am on a Monday. We felt a little rushed when ordering. The staff had not been able to clean up the dining room. Fortunately, I brought disinfectant wipes so I could clean our table and chairs. We had a deli sandwich, shredded chicken sandwich, a grilled cheese. My daughter did not care for the grilled cheese and they were out of fruit for a side. The smoothie, tea, and other sandwiches were good. The desserts were amazing! The store is awesome with a large variety of toys and books for kids. The store has plenty of merchandise to buy for adults as well. A bit pricey but great quality items.

Very cute place with a big gift shop, like something you would see in Door County. Very good breakfast! If you are on the go I world recommend the Sausage egg and cheese burrito, lovely flavor! Oh and the White Mocha Latte was perfect! Loved it, will be back:)

Food was tasty I had a sloppy joe sandwich but they had run out of egg, tuna and chicken salad by 1 p.m. The selection of bakery ie pies and cookies were very tempting. I had a Carmel pecan cookie that was delicious! The fact that there was a great book store and gift shop as well as carmel corn in the same building made it special!
